يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ ڪَثِيرً۬ا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡبَارِ وَٱلرُّهۡبَانِ لَيَأۡكُلُونَ أَمۡوَٲلَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللهِۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَكۡنِزُونَ ٱلذَّهَبَ وَٱلۡفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَہَا فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللهِ فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ۬ ٣٤
O you who believe, many religious leaders and preachers take the people’s money illicitly, and repel from the path of ALLAH. Those who hoard the gold and silver, and do not spend them in the cause of ALLAH, promise them a painful retribution.
