The Charity

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ١

Do you know who really rejects the faith?

فَذَٲلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ ٢

That is the one who mistreats the orphans.

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ ٣

And does not advocate the feeding of the poor.

فَوَيۡلٌ۬ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ ٤

And woe to those who observe the Salat (Contact Prayer) –

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِہِمۡ سَاهُونَ ٥

who are totally heedless of their prayers.

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ ٦

They only show off.

وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ ٧

And they forbid charity.
