Quran 9:118

*** Verse 9:117 reveals 3 categories of believers who were redeemed, and verse 9:118 reveals 3 believers who stayed behind were also redeemed by Allah.

9:118 Also (redeemed were) the three who stayed behind. The spacious Earth became so straitened for them, that they almost gave up all hope for themselves. Finally, they realized that there was no escape from ALLAH, except to Him. He then redeemed them that they may repent. ALLAH is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

Verses 9:117-118 below give us some idea that there were only few believers along with prophet Muhammad, in the categories described below, who were redeemed by GOD. These verses further expose the false belief of the Muslims, who think and believe that prophet Muhammad had followers in the thousands. Even if there were, the belief accepted by GOD is only from the “few” as the verses state.

*** The next large population is of people who claim to be Muslims, and they are about 1.6 billion. During the life of Muhammad up until his death, there were only a few believers, as stated in verses 9:117–118. The majority of the so–called Muslims were either sedentary, hypocrites or idol worshipers. After the death of Prophet Muhammad, the followers started disputing with each other and began writing false Hadith and Sunnah attributed to him. 9:115 GOD does not send any people astray, after He had guided them, without first pointing out for them what to expect. GOD is fully aware of all things.9:116 To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the Heavens and the Earth. He controls life and death. It is ironic that the Quran was revealed and sent down to Muhammad who resided in Saudi Arabia. They were the ones who received the message initially, and they are the ones who rejected it en masse, except for a few who are mentioned in verses 9:117-118. Instead, they chose to come up with the false Shariah, Hadees and Sunnah thus replacing the Quran with their own distorted and false teachings.
