Quran 7:101

تِلۡكَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآٮِٕهَا‌ۚ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡہُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَمَا ڪَانُواْ لِيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِمَا ڪَذَّبُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ‌ۚ كَذَٲلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ ١٠١

We narrate to you the history of those communities: their messengers went to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in what they had rejected before. ALLAH thus seals the hearts of the disbelievers.

    Despite these covenants made with ALLAH, most of the humans disregard them by refusing His commands and by rejecting His Absolute Authority. He tests the humans by sending messages through human messengers. The serious message of our “Covenants” made with God are narrated and marked in verses 7:101-102.
