قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَصۡبَحَ مَآؤُكُمۡ غَوۡرً۬ا فَمَن يَأۡتِيكُم بِمَآءٍ۬ مَّعِينِۭ ٣٠
Say, "What if your water sinks away, who will provide you with pure water?"

Revealed: The messenger’s initials are 17 and Allah letters are 8 to proclaim the name of the messenger Makbool (178). This verse as well as other verses in the chapter remind the people about the provisions and blessings of Allah. When he decides to send the retribution or without His provisions, the people will then lament and complain.
