أَوۡ تَقُولُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا ٱلۡكِتَـٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهۡدَىٰ مِنۡہُمۡۚ فَقَدۡ جَآءَڪُم بَيِّنَةٌ۬ مِّن رَبِّڪُمۡ وَهُدً۬ى وَرَحۡمَةٌ۬ۚ فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنۡہَاۗ سَنَجۡزِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَصۡدِفُونَ عَنۡ ءَايَـٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصۡدِفُونَ ١٥٧
Nor can you say, "If only a scripture could come down to us, we would be better guided than they." A proven scripture has now come to you from your Lord, and a beacon, and a mercy. Now, who is more evil than one who rejects these proofs from ALLAH, and disregards them? We will commit those who disregard our proofs to the worst retribution for their heedlessness.

6:156 and 6:157 - The Proof:
6:156 Now you can no longer say, "The scripture was sent down to two groups before us, and we were unaware of their teachings."
Revealed: The Allah letters are 19, Alhumdo Lillah.
6:157 Part 1: Nor can you say, "If only a scripture could come down to us, we would be better guided than they." A proven scripture has now come to you from your Lord, and a beacon, and a mercy.
6:157 Part 2: Now, who is more evil than one who rejects these proofs from ALLAH, and disregards them? We will commit those who disregard our proofs to the worst retribution for their heedlessness.
Note: The verse on “proven scripture” is matched by assigning chapter and verse number that add to 19 (6+1+5+7 = 19).
Revealed: The Aleefs of Absoluteness are 10 and 12, revealing the diff. of 2 for the evil people.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 21 and 19, revealing the diff. of 2. The verse is addressed to the hypocrites and disbelievers who demand a scripture from Allah, but when He has finally revealed and sent down a “proven scripture,” they tend to remain evil by rejecting and disregarding the proofs. Such disbelievers will suffer the worst retribution for their heedlessness.
6:157 Part 1: Nor can you say, "If only a scripture could come down to us, we would be better guided than they." A proven scripture has now come to you from your Lord, and a beacon, and a mercy.
Revealed: The Arabic letters are Perfectly 66, revealing the Glorified Name of Allah, who has indeed sent down a proven scripture – the Quran, that is marked and stamped with 66 Arabic letters to satisfy the demand of the hypocrites (the Arabs) who promised to Allah that if they receive a scripture, then they will be better guided than the followers of previous scriptures. But they failed to fulfil their pledges, promises, and oaths made with Allah.
Revealed: The Allah letters are 21 and messenger’s letters are 35, revealing the diff. of 14. The profound miracles revealed with inclusion of the messenger’s name letters is evidence and proof of fulfilment of the Prophecy of Ahmad.
6:157 Part: Nor can you say, "If only a scripture could come down to us, we would be better guided than they." A proven scripture has now come to you.
Revealed: In this part, the proof revealed is up to the word “proven scripture” as it is the ending word for this part in the Arabic Script. The Allah letters up to “bayinnah” are perfectly 19, and messenger’s letters are 26, revealing the diff. of 7. These are the revelations of 19 and 7 from my Lord regarding the “proven scripture”.
6:157 Part: A proven scripture has now come to you.
6:157 Part: From your Lord as a beacon and mercy.
Revealed: Both Parts: The messenger’s letters are 5 and 9 for a total of 14, revealing the proven scripture through the Miracle of Seven Pairs, as well as revealing the sequence of verses 178 and 128 under the messenger’s names in the Quran.
Revealed: The GV of messenger’s letters in each part is 202 and 202 proclaiming the Glorified Name of “Lord” – “Rabb”, who has revealed the proven scripture to the messenger as a beacon and mercy from Him.
