The Arabs said, “We have believed (mu’men).” Say, "You have not believed; what you should say is, ‘We have submitted (muslim),’ until belief is established in your hearts." If you obey ALLAH and His messenger, He will not put any of your works to waste. ALLAH is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

# 3 - The Value Allah Places on Believers: Why the Believers are Always Few

Sermon # 3: THE VALUE GOD PLACES ON BELIEVERS: WHY THE BELIEVERS ARE ALWAYS FEW (CODED VERSE SUMS IT UP!) Page 8
For additional examples, you can refer to verses: 6:27, 10:78, 28:47, 7:72,75, 35:37, 49:14,15, to understand the meaning of the word “believer” and the context in which it is used as it relates to the messenger. Those who disbelieve, and what they say

THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE, AND WHAT THEY SAY Page 5
34:31 Those who disbelieve have said, “We will not believe in this Quran, nor in the previous scriptures.” If you could only envision these transgressors when they stand before their Lord! They will argue with one another back and forth. The followers will tell their leaders, “If it were not for you, we would have been BELIEVERS.” (*** see definition of “believers” in verses 49:14-15)
