ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُواْ مَآ أَسۡخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَڪَرِهُواْ رِضۡوَٲنَهُ ۥ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ ٢٨
This is because they followed what angered ALLAH and hated the things that please Him. Consequently, He has nullified their works.

The verse serves a warning to those who reject the Supreme Revelation of 1 revealed to the messenger that their works will surely be nullified.
