The Most Important Commandment
فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّهُ ۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مُتَقَلَّبَكُمۡ وَمَثۡوَٮٰكُمۡ ١٩
You shall know that: "There is no other god beside ALLAH," and ask forgiveness of your sins and the sins of all believing men and women. ALLAH is fully aware of your decisions and your ultimate destiny.
Proofs and revelations
47:19 - The Proof:
Revealed: The chapter number is 47 and the verse number is 19, revealing the sum of 66 which proclaims loud and clear, the Glorified Name of Allah (66).
Prophet Muhammad was inspired to recite these words to proclaim the Absoluteness of Allah which he did throughout his entire life after being appointed as a Prophet and messenger. The disbelievers after him included Muhammad’s name in the Sacred Shahadah and thus corrupted the religion of Islam that is now based on falsehood and conjecture rather than the truth revealed through the Quran to him.
Through part of the verse which states the truthful Shahadah, Allah reveals the word “Lord” - “Rabb” through His Name letters.
47:19 Part: You shall know that: "There is no other god beside ALLAH."
Revealed: The GV of Allah letters is perfectly 202, proclaiming His Absoluteness as the only Lord in the Universe.
Explanation of verse 47:19: Through this verse we learn that the Prophet was inspired to proclaim the Shahadah that bears the Name of Allah only and there was no inclusion of his name. Moreover we learn that he was instructed to ask forgiveness for his sins and the sins of all believing men and women. This is in stark contrast to the disbelieving followers of the Quran and the sects that they have made and who think that the Prophet was born free of sins. This verse nullifies their notion and clarifies that Prophet Muhammad had no idea about Islam and the Absoluteness of One Allah before the revelations came to him (refer to verse 40:66). 29:48 You did not read the previous scriptures, nor did you write them with your hand. In that case, the rejectors would have had reason to harbor doubts.
28:86 You never expected this scripture to come your way; but this is a mercy from your Lord. Therefore, you shall not side with the disbelievers.
28:87 Nor shall you be diverted from ALLAH’s revelations, after they have come to you, and invite the others to your Lord. And do not ever fall into idol worship.
