وَٱذۡكُرۡ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذۡ أَنذَرَ قَوۡمَهُ ۥ بِٱلۡأَحۡقَافِ وَقَدۡ خَلَتِ ٱلنُّذُرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِۦۤ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ۬ ٢١
Recall that the brother of `Aad warned his people at the dunes – numerous warnings were also delivered before him and after him: "You shall not worship except ALLAH. I fear for you the retribution of a great day."

46:21 and 46:22 - The Proof:
Revealed: In verse 46:21, the Allah letters are 33 and in verse 46:22, the Allah letters are 19, revealing the diff. of 14, the Miracle and Sign of Seven Pairs thus confirming the past history at the time of ‘Aad. The people at that time ignored the warnings of the messenger and as usual they thought the messenger was trying to divert them from their gods and challenged him to bring the retribution that he warned them about.
