Quran 3:164

Making the above commitments and carrying them out is what is required from the "monotheist worshipers of ALLAH". Would you ever say "NO" to ALLAH for anything after making these commitments? Would you not believe in His signs and messengers? The "message" bestowed upon me should be of prime concern and importance to the current submitters (Muslims) through Quran, as per verse 3:164, and other communities also.

Before these revelations came to me, as God tells us in 3:164, the people had strayed off from the true religion of Islam, as given in the Quran. Now He has revealed His name again to a messenger and through a messenger, that He is indeed ONE. Those seeking the Truth and guidance will surely benefit from this MESSAGE.

You will therefore notice that 3:164 and 62:2 both end by saying: “Before this, they had gone astray.”

The Quran was sent down by the Most Gracious for the righteous – the believers who are entrusted to be the keepers of GOD’s laws (9:112). The messengers are sent to guide the believers (3:164) and to test them (6:53), as well as to warn the opponents of GOD (40:30, 51:51) who deny and dispute His Absolute Authority to do whatever He wills and pleases.
