ضُرِبَتۡ عَلَيۡہِمُ ٱلذِّلَّةُ أَيۡنَ مَا ثُقِفُوٓاْ إِلَّا بِحَبۡلٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱللهِ وَحَبۡلٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱللهِ وَضُرِبَتۡ عَلَيۡہِمُ ٱلۡمَسۡكَنَةُۚ ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ يَكۡفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللهِ وَيَقۡتُلُونَ ٱلۡأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيۡرِ حَقٍّ۬ۚ ذَٲلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّكَانُواْ يَعۡتَدُونَ ١١٢
They shall be humiliated whenever you encounter them, unless they uphold ALLAH’s covenant, as well as their peace covenants with you. They have incurred wrath from ALLAH, and, consequently, they are committed to disgrace. This is because they rejected ALLAH’s revelations, and killed the prophets unjustly. This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.
