Quran 21:6

The Prophets سُوۡرَةُ الاٴنبیَاء Al-Anbya’

21:6

مَآ ءَامَنَتۡ قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهَآ‌ۖ أَفَهُمۡ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ٦

We never annihilated a believing community in the past. Are these people believers?

This is Allah’s promise that He does not annihilate any believing community. But His promise does not stand for those whose belief is mixed with hypocrisy.
