قُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُواْ مِنۡہَا جَمِيعً۬اۖ فَإِمَّا يَأۡتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدً۬ى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡہِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ ٣٨
We said, "Go down therefrom, all of you. When guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow My guidance will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

How did satan know about the Day of Judgment, or to ask for respite till that time? How could he know about prime matters, the system of God, and His plans for the future, to judge between His creatures?
