There are verses given on imploring GOD to prevent us from committing sins – the less sins, the better for the human soul. Verse 2:286 addresses this, and verse 40:9 is regarding the angels imploring GOD to protect the believers from falling in sin.

2:286 Part: (the believers implore) Our Lord, protect us from sinning until it becomes too late for us to repent.

Revealed: The Allah letters are 13 and the messenger’s letters are 14, revealing the diff. of 1. Note that in verse 40:9, the messenger’s letters were 19 and in verse 2:286, they are 14, thereby revealing the importance through this proven command that is coded with 19 and 14 letters of the messenger, in imploring Allah to protect you from falling in sin until it becomes too late to repent.
