ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَا لَكُمُ ٱلۡڪَرَّةَ عَلَيۡہِمۡ وَأَمۡدَدۡنَـٰكُم بِأَمۡوَٲلٍ۬ وَبَنِينَ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰكُمۡ أَڪۡثَرَ نَفِيرًا ٦
"Afterwards, we will give you a turn over them, and will supply you with a lot of wealth and children; we will give you the upper hand.

This particular prophecy addresses the Children of Israel – today’s communities of Jews and Christians. As is evident through verse 17:6, these communities currently have the upper hand in world affairs and do possess a lot of wealth, but have been defeated by the righteous Muslims in the past. At this time, the community of (idol-worshiping) Muslims is being persecuted by the (disbelieving) Children of Israel, who are stronger in all kinds of resources. In the future, as per God’s will, they will again be defeated…
