Chapter 17 · Verse 2

Quran 17:2

The Children of Israel سُوۡرَةُ لِّبَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ Le Bani Israel

وَءَاتَيۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ هُدً۬ى لِّبَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ أَلَّا تَتَّخِذُواْ مِن دُونِى وَڪِيلاً۬ ٢

Similarly, we gave Moses the scripture, and rendered it a beacon for the Children of Israel that: "You shall not set up any idol as a Lord and Master beside Me."
