Mandatory Command Before Reading The Quran
فَإِذَا قَرَأۡتَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللهِ مِنَ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ ٩٨
When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in ALLAH from satan the rejected.
Proofs and revelations
Our salvation is attained by knowing Allah's message and in believing in it through the Quran, and satan will do his utmost to keep us from being redeemed. Hence this commandment.
To keep satan's whispers away from us, we are commanded to seek refuge in Allah before reading the Quran.
