16:49 - 16:52 To ALLAH prostrates everything in the Heavens and everything on Earth - every creature - and so do the angels; without the least arrogance. They reverence their Lord, high above them, and they do what they are commanded to do. ALLAH has proclaimed: "Do not worship two gods; there is only one god. You shall reverence Me alone." To Him belongs everything in the Heavens and the Earth and therefore, the religion shall be devoted absolutely to Him alone. Would you worship other than ALLAH?

On the other hand, He has also proven that "hypocrites are truly LIARS, and they commit IDOLATRY by worshiping 2 gods, meaning rebelling and distorting ALLAH's commands, which is against the foundations of Islam". (see verse 16:51)

CHOICE BETWEEN TWO GODS – Quran made easy to learn

CHOICE BETWEEN TWO GODS – QURAN MADE EASY TO LEARN Page 1
This is the first sermon of 2006, and it is very important for the people to know what 1 GOD and what 2 gods means, as per 16:51. It is equally important to recognize the Truth preached by GOD’S messengers versus the falsehood preached by those not guided by GOD. Once the people understand the true meaning of 1 GOD, they can then repent, reform, and correct their worship practices, in order to achieve salvation and redemption in the Hereafter.

Important Note: It was an angel called “iblees” who tried to rival ALLAH and challenge His Absolute Authority, by disobeying His command, when asked to fall prostrate to Adam. iblees was therefore demoted from being an angel to a jinn and made the leader of all disbelieving jinns and humans, till the Day of Resurrection. In this very important verse, 16:51, it has been clarified by God to reveal the meaning of 1 GOD – as opposed to Idolatry – 2 gods.

Choice between Truthful Lord and false god

CHOICE BETWEEN THE TRUTHFUL LORD AND A FALSE GOD Page 1
If you thought I had given you all the proofs and revelations from 16:51 last week – a very important verse, then you have underestimated the wisdom of God. Just like His provisions and the Creative Power are inexhaustible, so is His Knowledge expressed through the Quranic verses. In this sermon, you will see more of it. Once you have made a clear choice to believe in GOD and support Him, then show your sincerity by upholding all His laws, including “reverencing Allah by obeying the messenger”.

The distorters of God’s religion have throughout history, attached, or associated the names of God’s prophets and messengers, with His Sacred Name and Shahadah, without any basis or proof. This is a clear violation of our Covenant with GOD before coming to Earth, and is a blasphemy that challenges His Absolute Authority, similar to what iblees (satan) did early on. Now we know and understand the basis of the number 165, and the Quranic words that it represents, namely: Al-Samad and La Elaha Ella Allah. Going back…

2 Deaths and 2 Lives Wasted by the Disbelievers Page 7
The “Revelation of 2” signifies and denotes IDOLATRY committed by the people and confirms that those who committed idolatry will be condemned to Hell by the Creator. This revelation originates and has its basis from verses 16:51 and 36:60-61, which inform the followers of the scripture “not to worship the two gods”; instead, they should worship and reverence the ONE GOD, who created them and provided for them. The follow-up verse reveals that the idol worshipers failed to uphold GOD’S Absolute Authority.

It is very simple, and in line with the entire teachings of the Quran, as per 16:51, which is, that those who worshiped any kind of idols beside GOD are guilty of “idolatry” or “worship of 2 gods”. Hence, the verses on Hell are 2, and the usage of the words “your Lord” occurs twice, to prove the point - that those sent to Hell were guilty of this gross sin against GOD.
