The Messenger Possesses No Power
قُل لَّآ أَمۡلِكُ لِنَفۡسِى ضَرًّ۬ا وَلَا نَفۡعًا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۗ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌۚ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةً۬ۖ وَلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ ٤٩
Say, "I possess no power to harm myself, or benefit myself; only what ALLAH wills takes place." Each community has a predetermined life span. Once their interim comes to an end, they cannot delay it by one hour, nor advance it.
